Thank you for all the great information you provide. Vets have been giving me shameful advice for years, like feed your dog Science Diet, which they happily profit from. I now feel like I’m nothing more than a cash cow (pun intended). I am ashamed of myself for listening to these so called experts. And more than that, I am ashamed of all the harm I might have caused my dear friends.

I've made this recipe for my dogs once so far and it's great. Just a couple questions... Is there anything that can take the place of the sardines besides the cod liver oil? I have extreme sensitivity to smells and the sardines are a huge issue. Why does it have to be Carlsons cod liver oil? Can I use a different brand? We have fed both Ollie and nom nom but they were ripping us off, not sending near enough calories and both my dogs lost a ton of weight. This recipe is way more cost effective but the carlsons brand is so expensive and we'd go through it way too quickly for the price.

What should we do then?

I say the best food is...... 1)The one your dog eats. 2)The one you can afford. Nothing like buying the Top Dog food at $150/bag. Then having you dog refuse to eat it. Even after loading it with toppers. Want to do something even better for your dog? Pay attention to it. Play with it. Stop thinking food alone is gonna keep your dog around forever. Anyone want a bag of Karna 4? The only food my dog would not eat. My dog is Extremely food driven.😂

High end kibble like Orijen and Carna4 aren't within everyone's budget. Additionally, most folks also don't have the time or money to cook. Would be nice to see reviews of upper to mid price kibble.

100 percent agree with you Dr. Robb.....no one should tell us what to give our pets over a Veterinarian. I spent money for my pet, I give my pet the best care and food and many other things I do for food for my dog and NO ONE should tell me that my dog needs more than 1 rabies in their life span. I am being forced to give my 3 yr old Doberman another rabies and I hate doing it but since I cant move, I am forced to do it but hate doing it because I listened to your video years ago about the dosage of a rabies no matter the size of the dog. This is incredibly helpful! What is the margin of error if I want to add in other things, like carrots, Kale, berries, bone broth, yogurt, herbs, etc to give her a little variety each time? Should I consider those things substitutions for any of the listed ingredients, or just whack them in there when I feel like I love her a little extra that day? Or am I projecting my feelings onto my dog (no way) and over-valuing variety? Also, She's been getting salmon oil for a long time (with her kibble) What is the major difference between salmon oil and cod oil?
